RWS Model 350 High Powered Air Rifles do require a little more attention to detail when making your scope and pellet selection. According to RWS, the best all around performance is achieved using their heavy RWS SuperMag pellets. As always though, each air rifle is an individual, and maximum accuracy is only achieved by trying a variety of pellets in your air rifle.
In order to take full advantage of the long range performance built into the RWS Model 350 Pro Air Rifle, all but the very keenest eyes will definitely benefit from adding a quality airgun telescopic sight and mounts. Just make sure you use a specialized airgun scope and mounts that are designed for today's high velocity magnum spring piston air guns.
The RWS M350 Air Rifle has a lot of power, and with that power necessarily comes the well-known bi-directional recoil of modern German manufactured spring-piston air guns. The lenses and crosshairs of regular rifle scopes - any brand - are braced only for the standard rearward recoil of centerfire rifles. They are just not built to withstand the bi-directional recoil in a high powered airgun like the RWS Model 350.
